Sr. Receivables Account Officer

Job Summary

The Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for managing and controlling company revenues, customer collections, and e-commerce sales accounting. The role ensures accurate recording of sales, bank transactions, reconciliations, and financial reports in compliance with approved accounting policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and monitor monthly sales invoices and customer collections.
• Manage accounts receivable balances and analyze customer accounts.
• Review e-commerce shipping and delivery charges and prepare required reconciliations.
• Record and reconcile bank transactions, deposits, transfers, and bank fees.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for e-commerce and branch accounts.
• Supervise branch accountants and ensure proper execution of assigned tasks.
• Prepare daily and periodic revenue and customer reports for management.
• Monitor cash closing for showrooms and ensure proper system posting.
• Apply promotional offers in the sales system and ensure accuracy.
• Calculate monthly sales incentives according to approved policies.
• Review petty cash reimbursements and prepare VAT returns on sales in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts receivable and revenue accounting.
• Strong skills in financial reporting and data analysis.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Arabic is required; English is an advantage.
