Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Sr. Proposal Engineer / Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and writing detailed proposals, collaborating with engineering and sales teams to develop solutions, supporting procurement processes, and ensuring alignment with client requirements. This role also involves analyzing customer specifications, coordinating technical and commercial inputs, and contributing to sales strategies to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Proposal Preparation and Proposal Writing
• Strong foundation in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools and software used in engineering and proposal preparation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering or a related field
• Prior 3-10 years’ experience in industrial automation, SCADA systems, or related domains is required.
• Experience in web browsing for carrying out tasks such as searching tender websites and identify prospects
• Selection of PLC / SCADA models / modules based on IO list, Schneider Preferred.
• Selection of Field Instrumentation Pressure, Flow, Level, Temperature, Vibration Sensors, Analyzers based on process requirements.
• Selection of IT hardware such as PCs, Printers, UPS, Video Wall, CCTV, RF communication etc.,
• Selection of cables, trays and supports and estimation.
• Domain expertise in water & Waster Water, Substation Automation preferred.
