Sr IT Architect

Job Description

The Senior IT Architect leads the design, governance, and security compliance of the Accolade platform and its integrations across Honeywell’s engineering and financial systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring platform stability, data integrity, and regulatory compliance, while supporting large-scale deployments and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong stakeholder engagement, and a proactive approach to risk mitigation and system optimization.

Accolade is 3 rd party tool used for NPI, VE CE, GISC and IT Process execution and tracking supporting various functions across the Organization. designing and delivering scalable, integrated IT solutions across enterprise platforms such as Accolade, Jira, SAP, and EDW. This role combines deep technical expertise in Accolade with leadership in system architecture, performance optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a passion for innovation, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities1. Platform Architecture & Integration

• Lead architecture and performance optimization of the Accolade platform, including integrations with Teamcenter, SAP, JIRA, EDW and reporting systems.
• Ensure system stability and implement production monitoring to prevent slowness during critical periods like AOP.
• Support data migration and cutover planning for large-scale deployments, including 1500+ project transitions.
  
  

2. Security & Compliance

• Own and execute Global Security Architecture Reviews and SSR submissions for Accolade PROD environments.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to deploy tools like Defender and Qualys, and ensure SSO/MFA integration.
• Support Enterprise Security Assurance (ESA) reviews and remediation of PEN test findings.
  
  

3. Operational Support & Risk Management

• Ensure quality of deployment and technical solution comply with architecture standards to avoid Prod issue leaks.
• Monitor system health and lead root cause analysis for performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with QA and business teams to validate system readiness and regression testing.
• Continuously streamline processes to improve system responsiveness and reliability.
  
  

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Participate in governance forums set for team and perform regular technical reviews of the solution and infrastructure.
• Communicate deployment plans, risk mitigation strategies, and system updates to business and IT leadership.
• Provide technical guidance on Accolade configurations and infrastructure
• Collaborate with product vendors to align on technical design and ensure compatibility with future upgrades.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT architecture and platform governance.
• Strong expertise in Accolade, SSR/ESA processes, and cybersecurity tools.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional deployments and manage compliance initiatives.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  
  

Must-Have Skills

• Accolade – Strong technical knowledge of Accolade Tool Features and database.
• Infrastructure — Good knowledge of Sever configuration for Application, database and report servers with respect to data and user volume.
• Technical Design / Architecture — ability to align technical solutions with business requirements and architectural standards across NPI Tracks, GDM, ERP, SAP, and Accolade platforms.
• GDM / Enterprise Data Platform Awareness — understanding of data integrity, automation, and integration across GDM, SAP, ERP, and Accolade systems.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• PPM and NPI Domain Knowledge — familiarity with enterprise-wide project portfolio management and NPI Policies.
• JIRA — preferred for tracking requirements, defects, release readiness, and delivery progress.
