Role Description:
Sr Executive / AM - Corporate Relations & Volunteering is responsible for execution of plans defined for the Corporate Relations vertical. Engaging with the corporates, supporting the volunteers, managing events are some key responsibilities of this role
Responsibilities:
Corporate Relationships
- Spend time and effort in understanding the corporate sector, CSR spends, volunteer engagement programs and domains they are interested in
- Understand the corporate partners of UWB, their CSR mandate and their focus on domains and communities
- Drive relations for the existing corporate partners end to end starting from the stage of proposal till submitting closure report both financial and programmatic.
- Take ownership of the deliverables committed to the corporates throughout the project duration and establish frequent communication mechanism.
- Responsible for quality and timely reporting of project progress to the corporate donors both financial and programmatic.
- Work closely with program’s teams for curating new initiatives, developing new proposal and budgets
- Research new CSR opportunities and onboard new corporate donors into the systems
- Support Chief Corporate relations officer/Director RM to achieve annual fund targets.
- Train and nurture the executives reporting to work independently and contribute to the overall team’s goals
- Take up field visits pre, during, post completion of the projects
- Facilitate field visits and progress review meetings for the corporates
- Develop effective donor engagement plan to have consistent communication throughout the project implementation period.
- Increase the share of funds from existing donors’ year on year by working towards achieving donor delight
Volunteer Relationships
- Curate annual volunteering calendar for the existing an new donors of UWBe
- Drive volunteering events for the corporate partners’ end to end to meet the volunteering targets set annually
- Research and curate new volunteering ideas, constantly revamp the list of activities and promote employee participation among the corporate partners
- Coordinate with various stakeholders internal & external to ensure seamless execution of the events
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate or Postgraduate Degree (preferably in Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field).
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant professional experience in the development/CSR sector, donor management.
- Strong understanding of corporate CSR frameworks, employee engagement, and partnership management.
- Excellent communication skills in English, proficiency in Kannada is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel for partnership development and project reviews.
