Position :- Sr. Accountant

Job Location - Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor revenue streams such as freight charges, leasing, and logistics services.
• Track expenses related to fuel, maintenance, tolls, and fleet operations.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Develop budgets aligned with operational goals.
• Forecast cash flow requirements for fleet expansion, repairs, and fuel costs.
• Provide variance analysis and recommendations to management.
• Compliance & Audit
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and transportation regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain accurate tax records, including GST and other statutory filings.
• Cost Control
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in logistics and supply chain operations.
• Monitor vendor contracts and payment schedules.
• Implement internal controls to prevent financial leakage.
• Team Leadership
• Supervise junior accountants and finance staff.
• Provide training on accounting systems and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and logistics teams for financial plann
• Strong knowledge of accounting processes, GST, TDS, invoicing, reconciliations, and statutory compliance
• Ability to handle day-to-day accounts and coordinate with billing, operations, and management
• Experience in finalization of accounts and audit suppor
• Good communication and coordination skills
