Role Description The Sponsorship Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for identifying and approaching potential sponsors, presenting tailored sponsorship opportunities, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure. Day-to-day work includes researching target markets and key accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with senior decision-makers, and conducting sales calls, virtual meetings, and in-person presentations. The Sponsorship Sales Executive collaborates with marketing and event production teams to develop compelling sponsorship packages, ensure sponsor expectations are met, and support post-event relationship management for renewals and upsell opportunities. The role also requires maintaining accurate sales pipelines, reporting on performance, and contributing to revenue growth across multiple events and sectors.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in B2B sales or sponsorship sales, with skills in prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Strong relationship-building and account management capabilities, including stakeholder management and client retention.
- Excellent communication skills, including confident presentation abilities, professional email and proposal writing, and active listening.
- Commercial awareness and analytical skills to understand client needs, interpret market trends, and build ROI-focused sponsorship solutions.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple opportunities, maintain CRM records, and meet deadlines and targets.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as marketing, operations, and event production.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and willingness to learn about sectors such as HR, CX, Cybersecurity, and Lendtech.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Prior experience in events, conferences, or media sponsorship sales is an advantage.
