At Diya Foundation, we believe every individual deserves the opportunity to learn, work, and live with dignity. We are looking for a passionate Special Educator to join our Vocational Training team and empower young adults with neurodiverse needs to build meaningful skills for employment and independent living.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design annual lesson schedules and individualized lesson plans aligned with learner goals.
  • Deliver person-centred vocational and functional skills training through practical, hands-on learning.
  • Develop teaching-learning materials, assessments and evaluation tools.
  • Maintain accurate trainee documentation, progress records and assessment files.
  • Plan and facilitate work-readiness and real-world learning experiences.
  • Partner with parents and caregivers to reinforce learning beyond the classroom.
  • Conduct quarterly parent review meetings and track individual learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with programme teams to align training with production and workplace activities.
  • Document classroom activities through photographs and videos for programme reporting and communication.
Who We're Looking For
  • Master's degree in Special Education, Rehabilitation, Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with individuals with neurodiverse needs, preferably adolescents and young adults.
  • Experience in vocational training, life skills education or transition-to-employment programmes is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, documentation and classroom management skills.
  • A patient, collaborative and person-centred approach with a strong commitment to inclusion.
