Role Description The Spa Therapist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh. The Spa Therapist will provide professional spa and wellness treatments, such as massages, facials, body therapies, and other services aligned with the spa’s menu and standards. Day-to-day tasks include greeting guests, understanding their needs and preferences, preparing treatment rooms, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and ensuring a relaxing, respectful experience for every guest. The Spa Therapist will also recommend suitable treatments and products, manage bookings in coordination with the front desk, and maintain accurate records of services provided. The role involves working closely with other spa and hotel team members to uphold service quality, support promotional activities, and contribute to a calm and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Professional training or certification in spa therapy, massage therapy, or beauty and wellness treatments, with strong practical skills in delivering a range of services.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, basic skincare, and wellness practices, with an ability to tailor treatments to guest needs and health considerations.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills, including the ability to listen actively, maintain confidentiality, and ensure a respectful and inclusive spa experience.
• Strong attention to hygiene, safety, and cleanliness, including adherence to sanitation protocols, equipment care, and health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Chandigarh, manage schedules efficiently, and collaborate with spa and hotel colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a spa, wellness center, or hotel environment is preferred; familiarity with booking systems or basic computer skills is an advantage.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, reliability, and a commitment to continuous learning and skill development within the wellness and hospitality industry.
