Role Description This is a full-time, on-site faculty role based at the Gokul Global University campus in Sidhpur. The Associate Professor in the Department of Materia Medica & Gynecology Medicine (MD Homeopathy) will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervise clinical training, guide dissertations, and contribute to curriculum development and academic research. The Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Anatomy will deliver lectures, conduct practical anatomy sessions and dissections, mentor students, and support the design and review of course materials. Both roles involve student assessment, participation in departmental meetings and academic committees, contribution to institutional research and publications, and adherence to applicable regulatory and professional standards. Faculty members are expected to engage in academic advising, maintain high-quality teaching practices, and support the university’s academic and ethical values.
Qualifications

  • Advanced academic qualification in the relevant discipline (MD Homeopathy with specialization in Materia Medica/Gynecology Medicine for Associate Professor; MD/MS or equivalent in Anatomy for Assistant Professor), from a recognized institution.
  • Demonstrated teaching competency in classroom and practical/clinical settings, including ability to design lesson plans, deliver lectures, and assess student performance fairly and transparently.
  • Research aptitude with experience or interest in publishing scholarly work, participating in academic projects, and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices in the respective fields.
  • Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills to guide students, collaborate with colleagues, and engage effectively in academic committees and departmental activities.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory and professional guidelines in medical and health sciences education, and commitment to ethical conduct, student-centered learning, and continuous professional development.
  • Prior experience in a university or medical college setting is highly desirable; eligibility and experience as per applicable council/university norms for Associate Professor and Assistant Professor appointments.
