Role Overview


We are looking for a Social Media Strategist & Execution Lead who can own end-to-end social media growth—from strategy and content creation to execution and performance tracking.

This role requires someone who deeply understands automotive content, audience behaviour, and performance metrics, and can translate that into high-impact content and measurable growth across platforms.


Key Responsibilities


1. Social Media Strategy & Planning

  • Build monthly and quarterly social media strategy aligned with brand and performance goals
  • Plan content calendars across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X and emerging platforms
  • Track trends in automotive, mobility & lifestyle to create strong content hooks
  • Map content to user journey stages: Discovery → Consideration → Purchase


2. Content Creation & Execution

  • Coordinate with internal teams and creators for shooting, editing, scripting and publishing
  • Create and scale formats such as:
  • Reels & Shorts (reviews, comparisons, POVs, reactions)
  • Car & bike walkthroughs and first-look videos
  • Feature explainers and spec breakdowns
  • Buying guides and ownership tips
  • Trend-based and meme content
  • Maintain consistent brand voice, design language and storytelling


3. Performance & Growth

  • Own and optimise key metrics:
  • Engagement rate
  • Follower growth
  • Video views & watch time
  • Website traffic to 91Wheels
  • Leads generated from social
  • Collaborate with performance marketing team to integrate organic + paid strategy


4. Platform & Community Management

  • Own publishing, scheduling and platform hygiene
  • Respond to comments, DMs and build strong community engagement
  • Build and nurture auto enthusiast communities


5. Influencer & Collaboration Strategy

  • Identify and collaborate with automotive influencers & creators
  • Manage barter and paid partnerships
  • Track ROI and scale high-performing collaborations


6. Insights & Reporting

  • Create weekly and monthly performance reports with clear insights
  • Identify brand vs performance content drivers
  • Continuously experiment and scale winning formats


Required Skills & Qualifications


Must Have

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in social media strategy and execution
  • Strong automotive knowledge (cars & bikes) — Mandatory
  • Deep understanding of Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and short-form video ecosystems
  • Proven track record of growing and scaling social media handles
  • Strong content sense, storytelling ability and trend understanding
  • Ability to analyse data and optimise content for performance
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Meta Business Suite
  • YouTube Studio
  • Google Analytics
  • Social scheduling tools


Good to Have

  • Experience in auto media, auto marketplace or mobility platforms
  • Understanding of performance marketing funnels and lead generation
  • Experience managing influencer collaborations
