Social Media Marketing Intern

Job description:

We’re looking for a Social Media Intern who understands how content works in today’s internet culture someone who knows hooks, storytelling, aesthetics, and how to turn ideas into high-performing posts.

This is not a typical internship. You’ll be involved in real content strategy, creative direction, and experimenting with AI tools to build better systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Brainstorming and planning scroll-stopping content ideas for brands
• Writing hooks and concepts for reels, carousels, and short-form videos
• Coordinating with the design and video team to execute content
• Managing content calendars and ensuring smooth execution
• Researching trends and formats that perform on Instagram and other platforms
• Using AI tools to speed up ideation, scripting, and workflows
• Helping maintain the aesthetic and creative direction of brand pages

What We’re Looking For

We’re not looking for someone who just “likes social media.”

We’re looking for someone who understands it.

You should:

• Understand Instagram, Reels, and short-form content trends
• Have a strong sense of visual aesthetics and branding
• Know how to write strong hooks and content angles
• Be comfortable guiding designers and video editors with clear instructions
• Have a good understanding of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Runway, etc.)
• Be proactive, curious, and willing to experiment with ideas

Bonus If You

• Have managed or grown an Instagram page before
• Understand UGC and performance-based content
• Are obsessed with content strategy and internet culture
