Social Media Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day social media activities across multiple brands, with a strong focus on books and the publishing industry. Must take an interest in understanding the publishing world and client requirements thoroughly.
• Support the Social Media Manager in delivering campaigns on time and to quality standards.
• Assist with client communication for assigned brands, help manage approval workflows, and maintain smooth coordination.
• Participate in content creation—conceptualising, writing, shooting, recording, and drafting posts, reels, and stories.
• Help maintain brands' consistency in tone, visuals, and messaging across all platforms.
• Provide assistance to performance marketers for paid ad campaigns and SEO, where needed.
• Monitor and respond to community interactions and customer feedback on all platforms.
• Help track, compile, and report on performance metrics under the manager's guidance.
• Bring fresh ideas for features, formats, and content to boost engagement and brand visibility.
• Stay updated on trends, tools, and platform algorithm changes to inform our work.

Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year of experience in social media marketing (freshers welcome).
• An interest in books, reading, and the publishing industry will be a strong plus.
• Familiarity with all social media platforms, including Meta, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and YouTube for scheduling, posting, etc.
• A growing sense of storytelling methods, content requirements, and visual aesthetics.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
