Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and digitally aware Social Media & Digital Storytelling Executive to manage and strengthen our brand presence across social media platforms. The ideal candidate should understand content planning, visual communication, branding, social media trends, and basic digital marketing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage monthly social media content calendars across relevant platforms.
- Create engaging social media posts, stories, reels, captions, and campaign content.
- Design basic creatives using tools such as Canva and coordinate with designers for advanced requirements.
- Schedule and publish content while maintaining consistency in brand tone and visual identity.
- Write clear, engaging, and grammatically correct content in English.
- Track social media performance, engagement, reach, and audience growth, and prepare reports.
- Conduct keyword research and support on-page SEO, website content, and blog optimisation.
- Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and new content formats.
- Manage comments, messages, and basic community engagement professionally.
- Coordinate with internal teams, agencies, designers, photographers, and video editors.
- Use AI tools for content ideation, research, copywriting, creative support, and productivity.
- Assist with on-site shoots, event coverage, and behind-the-scenes content creation when required.
- Support brand campaigns, product launches, events, and other digital marketing initiatives.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress & Backend Maintenance
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience with a digital marketing agency or an in-house marketing team.
- Good understanding of social media platforms, posting formats, algorithms, and content calendars.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and content optimisation.
- Hands-on knowledge of Canva or similar creative tools.
- Strong understanding of branding, visual consistency, and audience-focused communication.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and other content- or design-based platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
Added Advantage
- Knowledge of photography, videography, reel creation, and video-editing tools.
- Experience with real estate, hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury brands.
- Basic understanding of Meta Business Suite, paid social media campaigns, and analytics tools.
