Our core operations span across comprehensive cross-border logistics, freight forwarding, custom clearance, precise compliance documentation, and seamless door-to-door delivery networks. To anchor our rapidly expanding footprint, we are launching our primary Indian operations with a Head Office in Surat and a strategic Central Office in Delhi.
We are seeking two dynamic, highly competent, and entrepreneurial Logistics Managers to champion the setup and daily operations of our branch offices in Surat and Delhi respectively. The ideal candidate will function as the operational nucleus of their respective branch, possessing an end-to-end grip on local operations, customs liaison, regional business development, and international supplier office coordination. This role demands a blend of deeply rooted logistics expertise, command over trade technology platforms, and local market intelligence.

Reports To: Head of Operations / Director
1. Core Operations & Branch Management
Oversee the complete lifecycle of incoming and outgoing shipments at the branch level, ensuring strict adherence to timelines and KPIs.
Manage day-to-day freight operations, domestic distribution, warehousing alignments, and final mile door-to-door delivery.
Act as the ultimate point of accountability for all operational workflows, cargo tracking, and localized issue resolution within the zone.
Direct and monitor customs clearing processes, ensuring seamless collaboration with Customs House Agents (CHAs) and regulatory bodies.
Maintain absolute fluency in Indian import/export regulations, customs tariffs, duty structure mechanisms, and compliance mandates.
Review, validate, and manage critical cross-border trade documentation, including Bills of Lading, Airway Bills, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Entry, and licenses.
Maintain continuous daily coordination with our Hong Kong Headquarters and China sourcing/operations offices to synchronize shipment pipelines and logistics schedules.
Bridge communication between international offices and domestic delivery channels to provide accurate predictive updates to stakeholders.
Drive local marketing and business development activities to expand Tradexia's client portfolio within the region.
Engage with local importers, exporters, and traders to pitch comprehensive cross-border supply chain and door-to-door delivery capabilities.
Leverage advanced modern logistics management systems (LMS), ERP solutions, and tracking software to maintain zero-error workflows.
Generate data-driven operational reports, cost-benefit analyses, and efficiency tracking metrics to continuously improve branch margin profiles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 4 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience in international freight forwarding, cross-border logistics, or custom clearance setups.
Linguistic Skills: High proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Candidates must also demonstrate complete fluency in the local language of the respective location (Hindi for Delhi; Gujarati/Hindi for Surat) to interact effectively with local field operators, customs staff, and vendors.
Domain Knowledge: Exceptional practical understanding of Indian Customs procedures, ICEGATE, import duties, GST protocols on imports, and domestic cargo distribution.
Technical Prowess: Strong command over logistics software, cargo tracking systems, Microsoft Excel for data analysis, and modern digital productivity tools.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, self-starter mentality, exceptional negotiation capabilities, and sharp cross-cultural communication skills.
