Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Freight Broker role located in Chandigarh, India. The Freight Broker will manage daily freight operations, including sourcing carriers, negotiating rates, and coordinating shipments across multiple transportation modes. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with shippers and carriers, handling load bookings, and monitoring shipments to ensure on-time delivery. The Freight Broker will respond to customer inquiries, resolve service issues, and provide regular status updates to clients. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, updating transportation management systems, and collaborating with internal teams to improve efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage, including rate negotiation and carrier sourcing.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Account Management skills to handle client communication and relationship management.
• Candidates should possess effective Dispatching skills to coordinate loads, schedules, and daily transport operations.
• Candidates should possess good organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Candidates should possess clear verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with basic computer and logistics software tools.
• Relevant experience in transportation or logistics, and knowledge of North American freight markets, is highly beneficial.
• A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
