SEO & AEO Coordinator (Full-Time, Remote)

About the Role

This growth engine is how those students find us in the first place. ApplyAZ is hiring an SEO & AEO Specialist on a 1-year contract to own and execute our search and AI-visibility growth — the work that puts ApplyAZ in front of the students who are eligible for this and don't yet know it exists. You'll run real campaigns from day one, backed by a structured playbook and close mentorship — this is a role for someone who already has the fundamentals and is ready to move fast on a live, high-stakes growth operation that has a real outcome behind it.

We're looking for one ambitious person to run point on all of it — SEO, AI search (AEO), content, outreach, and analytics — not five different specialists. If you like owning a scoreboard, being told plainly what's working and what isn't, and knowing the work directly puts a deserving student in a fully-funded seat, this is built for you.

What You'll Own

Search & Technical Growth

• Keyword research, clustering, and content mapping using Semrush and Search Console
• On-page and technical SEO execution, including crawler/schema setup
• Ongoing site health, indexation, and internal linking

AI Search (AEO)

• Tracking and improving ApplyAZ's visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews
• Building the content and entity signals that get ApplyAZ cited as a source in AI-generated answers — so when a student or parent asks an AI how to study in Italy tuition-free, we're the answer

Content & Authority

• Publishing and optimizing content against a clear editorial calendar and keyword map
• Running outreach for guest posts, media mentions, and expert-quote placements
• Managing our monthly growth budget allocation alongside your mentor

Analytics & Reporting

• Running the biweekly performance audit: what moved, what didn't, and what gets more resourcing next
• Maintaining our growth trackers so progress is visible and provable, not anecdotal

How You'll Work

Your months follow a detailed day-by-day execution plan — every task, every tool click, every deliverable spelled out. From there, your mentor reviews your work biweekly and reallocates your focus toward whatever's actually working.

Tools You'll Use

Semrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Apollo, and AI platforms including ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity — used on live projects from week one.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in SEO, AEO, digital marketing, or content/growth roles
• Strong written English and communication skills
• High ownership mentality — comfortable being handed a target and a playbook, and closing the gap
• Sharp attention to detail; comfortable with numbers and reporting
• Genuine curiosity about AI, search, and how machines decide what to recommend

Compensation & Growth

• ₹25,000/month
• 1-year contract with defined mentorship and a documented curriculum
• Clear path to a longer-term, higher-responsibility role based on the biweekly performance reviews built into the program
