About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise solutions for a large-scale Banking Technology Project in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining scalable, secure, and resilient architecture solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, and the organization’s technology roadmap.

This role requires close collaboration with software engineers, testers, architects, platform owners, and agile squads to design and implement high-performing, reusable, and secure technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable solution architectures aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Design end-to-end architecture solutions considering both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure architecture alignment with reference architecture frameworks and technology roadmaps.
• Define and govern solution implementation frameworks promoting innovation, open standards, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, Security Architects, Technical Architects, and Platform Teams to ensure architecture consistency.
• Provide technical consultancy and architecture guidance to IT and business stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to Enterprise Architecture governance frameworks, standards, and quality measures.
• Design highly resilient, scalable, and secure enterprise platforms.
• Identify and propose architecture improvements to enhance performance, agility, security, and cost efficiency.
• Define and promote reusable architecture patterns and reference architectures.
• Participate in agile squads or platform teams to support both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Solution Architecture and Enterprise Architecture practices
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis & Design and distributed systems
• Experience designing cloud-native applications and architectures
• Strong understanding of 12-Factor App principles
• Experience with Microservices and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Strong experience with integration patterns and enterprise integration frameworks
• Strong knowledge of event-driven architectures
• Experience designing highly resilient, secure, and scalable enterprise solutions
• Deep understanding of software design, data flows, and integration architectures
• Exposure to multiple technology platforms and distributed computing environments
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, frameworks, and coding standards

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in the Banking or Financial Services domain
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
• Knowledge of enterprise integration tools and API platforms
• Experience implementing enterprise architecture governance frameworks

Experience Required

• 15+ years of experience in Information Technology
• 6+ years of experience in software development and system design
• Extensive experience in solution definition, architecture design, and implementation
• Experience working with enterprise integration patterns and modern architecture trends.
