Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Sales Engineer role is based in Haridwar. The Senior Sales Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage key customer accounts, and promote tooling and cutting solutions that align with client requirements in metal machining applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting technical demonstrations, preparing proposals and quotations, and collaborating with engineering teams to design customized solutions. The role involves providing technical support before and after sales, resolving customer issues, and ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction. The Senior Sales Engineer will also monitor market trends, support sales planning and forecasting, and contribute to continuous improvement in sales processes and product offerings.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills for tooling, cutting solutions, and metal machining applications.
  • Proficiency in Sales and Customer Service to manage pipelines, close deals, and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent Communication skills to present technical concepts clearly, negotiate with stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in industrial tooling, cutting tools, machining, or automotive/engineering industries, preferably in a senior or lead sales role.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, machining processes, and application parameters to recommend suitable tooling solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented approach and comfort with field visits and customer meetings.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and basic data analysis for sales reporting and planning.
  • Commitment to ethical business practices, inclusion, and working effectively with diverse teams and customers.
