Position OverviewThe Sales & Marketing Executive will be responsible for identifying business opportunities and converting leads within the Kurnool region. The primary focus is on executing the sales process—from initial cold calling and site visits to coordinating installations. This role emphasizes high activity levels, relationship building with local contractors, and ensuring a seamless transition from lead to satisfied customer.
Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Prospecting- Active Cold Calling: Conduct daily outreach to schools, local gyms, and small-scale developers to build a consistent pipeline.
- Field Visits: Perform regular site visits across Kurnool to identify ongoing construction projects where sports infrastructure (turf, courts, flooring) may be required.
- Database Management: Assist in building a comprehensive database of local architects and physical education directors.
- Product Demonstrations: Present product samples and technical brochures to potential B2C and B2B clients, highlighting durability and safety features.
- B2C Follow-ups: Rigorously follow up on all company-provided leads within a 24-hour window to maximize conversion rates.
- Guided Closures: Work closely with the Branch Sales Manager to move prospects through the final stages of the sales funnel.
- Site Measurement: Take accurate physical measurements of sites to provide the CRM Manager with necessary data for precise quotations.
- Documentation: Ensure all KYC and contract documents are collected and verified before project commencement.
- Project Handover: Coordinate with the installation team to ensure the client’s site is ready for material delivery and labor.
- Arrears Management: Responsible for the first-level follow-up on all outstanding invoices for assigned accounts.
- Payment Documentation: Collect cheques or payment confirmations and ensure they are logged accurately in the system.
- Daily Activity Volume: Achieving a set number of daily calls (e.g., 20+) and weekly in-person meetings (e.g., 10+).
- Lead Response Time: Maintaining an average response time of under 4 hours for new inbound inquiries.
- Target Achievement: Meeting monthly sales volume targets (measured in square footage or contract value).
- Data Integrity: 100% accuracy in CRM entries and daily reporting logs.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in field sales (preferably in construction, building materials, or fitness equipment).
- Local Knowledge: Conversant in Tamil and English; must have a deep understanding of the local Kurnool geography.
- Mobility: Must possess a two-wheeler and a valid driving license for frequent local travel.
- Skills: Strong persistence, basic negotiation skills, and a "customer-first" attitude.
