Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Firewall Engineer, based in Indore. The responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing firewall solutions to ensure the safety and integrity of network infrastructure. The role also involves monitoring network activity, troubleshooting security issues, and optimizing firewall configurations. As a key member of the team, the Senior Firewall Engineer will collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security protocols and proactively address vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of firewall systems, network security, and intrusion prevention tools.
• Proficiency in configuring and maintaining enterprise-grade firewalls and security appliances.
• Experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and vulnerability assessment.
• Knowledge of protocols such as DNS, VPN, TCP/IP, and routing concepts.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications in network or security domains like CCNP Security, CISSP, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience working in a high-pressure environment.
