Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Quantity Surveyor, based in Puducherry. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all costs related to building and civil engineering projects. Daily tasks include preparing and monitoring budgets, developing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), reviewing project designs for cost efficiency, tracking expenditures, and providing accurate cost forecasting. The role also involves preparing detailed cost reports and collaborating closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure financial oversight and value management throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Cost Control, Cost Planning, and Cost Management
Experience with preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and detailed cost reporting
Strong skills in financial analysis and managing budgets
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Proficiency in construction and quantity surveying software and tools
Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and practices
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
