Snowflake QA Analyst

We are looking for a Snowflake QA Analyst to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and quality of our Snowflake-based data pipelines, warehouse processes, and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test cases for Snowflake data pipelines, transformations, and SQL logic.
• Validate data integrity, lineage, and business rules across ETL/ELT workflows.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and backend database testing.
• Log defects, track resolutions, and collaborate with data engineers and developers.
• Review requirements and provide QA input during design and development.
• Document test results and support post-deployment validation.

Required Skills:

• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in Snowflake.
• Experience testing data pipelines (ADF, Airflow, Informatica, DBT, etc.).
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Familiarity with QA processes, defect management tools (e.g., JIRA), and Agile practices.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5–8 years in QA, with at least 1–2 years in data/Snowflake testing.
• Experience validating dashboards/reports and BI tools.
• ISTQB/CSQA or relevant QA certifications (preferred).
• Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus. Confidential Information
