Order Intake Specialist

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Order Management & Processing
  • Receive and enter product orders received
  • Verify all required documents (physician order, wound assessment, insurance details, payer authorization)
  • Confirm patient demographics, diagnosis, and product compatibility in accordance with payer and company policy
  • Identify and flag incomplete or invalid documentation for clarification
  • Assign orders for fulfilment once verified, ensuring accuracy in quantities, product codes, and shipping details
  • Should hold good experience in Eligibility/Benefit verification & Prior authorization

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  •  High school diploma or equivalent
  •  Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare billing
  •  Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and critical thinking
  •  Effective written and verbal communication skills
  •  Must have a team player mindset with adaptability to monitor own work
  •  High degree of professionalism and customer service
  •  Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
