Senior Odoo Functional Consultant

Role Description

This is a full-time role. Blue Sky Consulting is expanding our ERP practice and looking for a Senior Odoo Functional Consultant with strong accounting expertise to lead implementations across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Odoo implementations
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, map accounting workflows, and design Odoo-based solutions.
• Configure and test Odoo modules to align with accounting best practices and business needs.
• Assist with data migration, integration, and troubleshooting of accounting-related workflows.
• Deliver training sessions and provide functional support for end-users, particularly accounting teams.
• Document processes, configurations, and system changes.
• Offer advisory insights on improving accounting efficiency using Odoo ERP.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Accounting background required.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (functional consulting or implementation).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and day-to-day financial operations.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, configuration, and user support.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
