Senior Marketing Manager (12-Month FTC)


Location: Hybrid – Manchester (2 days per week in the office)

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000

Contract: Fixed-term contract (12 months)

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager to join the in-house marketing function and play a key role in executing the company’s marketing strategy and driving pipeline growth.


Working closely with the Head of Marketing and senior leadership, you will help deliver integrated marketing campaigns across content, events, partnerships, and paid channels, while supporting the wider marketing team.


The role will sit between leadership and the current team, bringing additional strategic marketing experience while remaining hands-on with campaign delivery.


The Team

You will join a collaborative marketing team consisting of:

  • Head of Marketing
  • Demand Generation Manager
  • Content Marketing Manager


The team is highly autonomous and capable, so the successful candidate will bring the experience needed to mentor, support and elevate the team while helping scale marketing output.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support execution of the company’s overall marketing strategy
  • Work closely with sales and leadership to drive demand generation and pipeline
  • Manage and support the Demand Generation Manager and Content Marketing Manager
  • Plan and deliver integrated campaigns across content, events, partnerships and paid channels
  • Support brand positioning and campaign development
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to promote different service lines
  • Drive partner marketing initiatives and co-marketing activity
  • Contribute to customer marketing and client engagement programmes
  • Analyse campaign performance and report on marketing effectiveness
  • Help shape messaging and go-to-market strategy as the business expands its AI and innovation-led services


About You

We’re looking for a commercially minded, hands-on marketer who is comfortable operating strategically while still delivering impactful campaigns.

You’ll likely have:

  • Experience in a Senior Marketing Manager or similar B2B marketing role
  • Strong experience across content marketing, events, and digital campaigns
  • A track record of working closely with sales teams to generate pipeline
  • Experience supporting or managing marketing team members
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience within technology, digital consultancy, SaaS, or agency environments
  • Interest or exposure to AI, digital innovation, or emerging technology trends (beneficial but not essential)
