Senior IT Project Manager

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major digital transformation programme, migrating from legacy platforms to Salesforce. This is a high-profile, business-critical initiative that will modernise our technology landscape, enhance customer experience, and improve operational efficiency across the organisation.

You will take full ownership of delivering complex, large-scale change, leading cross-functional teams, engaging senior stakeholders, and driving Agile delivery from mobilisation through to successful implementation and adoption.

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in the office.

What You'll Be Doing

Programme & Project Leadership

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a large-scale Salesforce transformation programme
• Develop robust project plans, governance frameworks, RAID logs, and reporting structures
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
  
  

Agile Delivery

• Champion Agile methodologies across the programme
• Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes
  
  

Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

• Partner with senior business leaders, IT, and external vendors
• Manage expectations, risks, dependencies, and change impacts
• Provide clear, concise updates to executive stakeholders
  
  

Team Leadership

• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, architects, and third-party partners
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture
  
  

Change & Adoption

• Develop and implement change management strategies
• Support business readiness, communications, and user adoption initiatives
• Ensure smooth transition from legacy systems to Salesforce
  
  

Release & Vendor Management

• Oversee release planning and coordination
• Manage third-party delivery partners and system integrators
• Ensure quality assurance and successful go-live execution
  
  

About You

You are a confident, delivery-focused Senior Project Manager who thrives in complex transformation environments and can balance strategic oversight with hands-on programme leadership.

Essential

• Proven experience delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes
• Strong experience managing Salesforce or other enterprise CRM migrations
• Demonstrable expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or similar)
• Experience managing cross-functional and third-party teams
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including executive-level engagement
• Excellent risk, budget, and governance management capability
  
  

Desirable

• Experience using Azure DevOps or similar Agile tooling
• Salesforce certifications or experience working closely with Salesforce partners
• Formal project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM)
• Strong understanding of change management frameworks
