Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead the design and development of interior spaces for healthcare projects, ensuring functional, patient-friendly, and aesthetically cohesive environments. This full-time, on-site role in Rajkot involves developing design concepts, space plans, and interior layouts in close collaboration with architects, engineers, and project managers. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing construction drawings, selecting and specifying FF&E, coordinating with vendors, and overseeing interior fit-out implementation to maintain design intent and quality standards. The Senior Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, present design proposals, and refine solutions based on feedback, project requirements, and regulatory guidelines. The role also includes mentoring junior designers, managing design documentation, and supporting project timelines and budget adherence.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Space Planning and Interior Design skills, with a focus on healthcare environments.
  • Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to translate design concepts into clear, buildable documentation.
  • Candidates should possess FF&E selection and specification skills, including furniture, finishes, and equipment suited to clinical and public spaces.
  • Relevant experience in healthcare, commercial, or institutional interior projects, preferably in senior or lead design roles.
  • Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools).
  • Strong visual communication, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; advanced certifications in healthcare design are an advantage.
