Role Description

The Senior Interior Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The individual in this role will lead the design process from concept to completion, including client consultations, developing design concepts, and preparing detailed space plans and material boards. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating construction drawings, selecting FF&E, collaborating with architects and contractors, and ensuring design intent is maintained throughout execution. The Senior Interior Designer will oversee project timelines, manage design documentation, participate in site visits, and resolve design-related issues on-site. This role also involves mentoring junior designers, maintaining design standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Interior Design and Space Planning, with a strong portfolio of residential and commercial projects.
• Solid understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proficiency in FF&E selection, specification, and documentation, with an eye for luxury finishes and functional detailing.
• Advanced skills in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D visualization tools) and familiarity with VR-based design presentations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, including leading end-to-end interior design projects.
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and readiness to work on-site in Chennai with regular site supervision responsibilities.
