Role Description The Senior Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, responsible for leading interior design projects from concept development through completion. This role involves meeting with clients to understand requirements, developing design concepts and mood boards, and creating detailed space plans and layouts. The Senior Interior Designer will prepare and review construction drawings, coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors, and oversee FF&E selection, budgeting, and installation. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising junior designers, ensuring design quality and adherence to timelines, conducting site visits, resolving design and execution issues, and maintaining clear project documentation. The role also includes contributing to design presentations, supporting business development efforts, and upholding the studio’s design standards and brand identity.
Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design skills, including concept development, material selection, and client-facing presentations.
• Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize layouts, circulation, and functional zoning for residential and/or commercial projects.
• Knowledge of Architecture principles to coordinate effectively with structural, MEP, and other design disciplines.
• Ability to produce and review detailed Construction Drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details.
• Experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, sourcing, and installation coordination.
• Advanced skills in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop) and familiarity with 3D visualization tools.
• Strong project management abilities, including scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, and team leadership.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in a senior or lead designer role is preferred.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work on-site in Jaipur as part of a fast-paced, design-driven environment.
