Role Description The Senior GIS and Survey Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in West Delhi. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and supervising land and infrastructure surveys, including topographic, cadastral, and utility mapping, using advanced surveying instruments and GIS tools. The specialist will manage spatial data collection, processing, and analysis, create and maintain geospatial databases, and produce maps and reports to support engineering, construction, and smart city projects. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with project managers and design teams, validating survey data for accuracy and compliance with technical standards, and integrating GIS outputs with CAD and other design software. The role also involves mentoring junior team members, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols, and supporting client presentations and technical documentation.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong GIS and geospatial skills, including proficiency in leading GIS platforms (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS), spatial data management, and map production.
• Candidates should possess advanced land surveying skills, such as experience with total stations, GNSS/GPS, digital levels, and survey planning for infrastructure and urban projects.
• Candidates should possess data processing and analysis skills, including handling large datasets, performing spatial analysis, and integrating GIS data with CAD and engineering design tools.
• Candidates should possess project coordination and documentation skills, including report writing, preparation of technical drawings, and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to validate and ensure accuracy of survey and GIS outputs.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geography, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Relevant professional experience in infrastructure, urban development, smart city, or government projects, preferably in a senior or lead survey/GIS role.
• Familiarity with Indian survey standards, municipal and government regulations, and best practices in sustainable infrastructure
