Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Land Surveyor role based in Ghaziabad. The Land Surveyor will conduct field surveys, including topographic and land boundary measurements, using instruments such as total stations and GPS equipment. The role involves preparing accurate survey reports, drawings, and documentation, and collaborating with engineers, planners, and project managers to provide reliable data for construction and development projects. The Land Surveyor will verify existing site conditions, perform building and infrastructure surveys, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and maintain survey equipment and records. The position requires regular site visits, precise data collection, and adherence to safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Land Surveying and Surveying, with the ability to conduct precise measurements and boundary assessments.
- Experience in Topographic Surveys, including terrain mapping and contour development for planning and design purposes.
- Proficiency in using DGPS, Total Station and related survey instruments, including data collection, calibration, and basic troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Building Surveying practices, including layout, level checks, and verification of construction against design specifications.
- Familiarity with survey-related software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS tools) and digital data processing is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, site plans, and legal descriptions of property boundaries.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work on-site in varying field conditions.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to ethical and safe work practices.
