Job Description

Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst (FP&A)


About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Finance Analyst (FP&A) to join our finance team. This role will support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis across clients, campaigns, and internal operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of an advertising/agency business, including project-based revenue, media spends, and resource allocation.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Support the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
  • Work closely with business teams (client servicing, media, creative) to align financial targets
  • Track budget vs actuals and assist in variance analysis

Revenue & Cost Analysis

  • Analyze revenue across clients, campaigns, and business verticals
  • Track media spends, vendor payouts, and project-level profitability
  • Support evaluation of pricing models, retainers, and margins

Business Performance Reporting

  • Prepare monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and performance summaries
  • Provide data-driven insights on profitability, cost optimization, and business performance
  • Identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement

Client & Project Profitability

  • Analyze client-level and campaign-level profitability
  • Support account teams with financial insights to improve decision-making
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for cost control and revenue optimization

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, HR, media buying)
  • Support senior leadership with financial analysis and reporting
  • Work closely with the accounts team to ensure data accuracy


Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CA preferred)
  • 2–7 years of experience in FP&A / financial analysis (agency or media background preferred)
  • Good understanding of project-based financials and revenue recognition
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial tools/ERP is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
