Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst (FP&A)
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Finance Analyst (FP&A) to join our finance team. This role will support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis across clients, campaigns, and internal operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of an advertising/agency business, including project-based revenue, media spends, and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Support the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
- Work closely with business teams (client servicing, media, creative) to align financial targets
- Track budget vs actuals and assist in variance analysis
Revenue & Cost Analysis
- Analyze revenue across clients, campaigns, and business verticals
- Track media spends, vendor payouts, and project-level profitability
- Support evaluation of pricing models, retainers, and margins
Business Performance Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and performance summaries
- Provide data-driven insights on profitability, cost optimization, and business performance
- Identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement
Client & Project Profitability
- Analyze client-level and campaign-level profitability
- Support account teams with financial insights to improve decision-making
- Assist in identifying opportunities for cost control and revenue optimization
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, HR, media buying)
- Support senior leadership with financial analysis and reporting
- Work closely with the accounts team to ensure data accuracy
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CA preferred)
- 2–7 years of experience in FP&A / financial analysis (agency or media background preferred)
- Good understanding of project-based financials and revenue recognition
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial tools/ERP is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
