Position: Senior Executive – Export Sales
Department: Export Sales
Location: Gurugram
Objective
The role is responsible for supporting the organization's export business by driving market analysis, customer and distributor coordination, business development initiatives, and efficient execution of export operations. The incumbent will contribute to expanding international markets through strong analytical capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and effective customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and expansion of existing and new international markets through effective customer and distributor engagement.
- Conduct market research, EXIM data analysis, competitor benchmarking, and identify new business opportunities across assigned export territories.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, pricing analyses, product presentations, and customer-specific business offers.
- Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Marketing, and Product Management teams to ensure timely execution of export orders and projects.
- Track customer inquiries, quotations, order status, and project milestones to ensure timely follow-up and successful business conversion.
- Develop and maintain periodic MIS reports, sales dashboards, market intelligence reports, and business performance analyses.
- Support contract execution, documentation, export compliance, and commercial activities in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers, distributors, and channel partners to enhance customer satisfaction and long-term business growth.
- Participate in international business development initiatives, trade exhibitions, customer meetings, and virtual business discussions whenever required.
- Monitor global market trends, pricing movements, industry developments, and competitor activities to provide strategic inputs for business planning.
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to organizational policies, export regulations, and quality standards.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Educational Qualification
- Post Graduate (MBA/PGDM in Marketing, International Business, or equivalent preferred).
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Export Sales, International Business Development, or Export Marketing.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of export documentation, international trade practices, and EXIM processes.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and business data analysis.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/CRM systems.
- Strong coordination, project management, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with high ownership and accountability.
- Good problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to interact with international customers across different time zones.
