Role: Senior Associate Data Analytics

Job Purpose

We are expanding our analytics team at Nutrabay and looking for someone who blends technical execution with strong business acumen. In this role, you will own the day-to-day business reporting, acting as the primary bridge between the data team and business stakeholders.We need a systems thinker who can take vague business questions, translate them into optimized SQL and intuitive Power BI dashboards, and communicate the insights clearly. By owning the daily reporting and stakeholder management, you will play a critical part in allowing the broader team to scale our core analytics infrastructure

You should apply if you have:

• Strong Power BI: Deep hands-on experience with DAX, Power Query, and dashboard performance optimization.
• Advanced SQL: You should be comfortable writing complex queries from scratch, doing performance tuning, and understanding data modeling.
• ETL Fundamentals: A solid practical understanding of ETL pipelines and how data moves from source systems into a data warehouse.

You should not apply if you:

• Prefer working in isolation and avoid frequent communication with business stakeholders.
• Do not have strong, hands-on experience building reports in Power BI.
• Struggle with writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Lack a basic understanding of how data warehouses and ETL processes

What will you do?

• Own Business Reporting: Take charge of day-to-day reporting requests, building and maintaining insightful, scalable Power BI dashboards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Talk frequently with cross-functional business teams to understand their KPIs, gather requirements, and deliver data-driven narratives.
• Data Extraction & Transformation: Write clean, highly optimized SQL queries to pull and transform data from our data warehouse (Redshift).
• Systems Thinking: Design reports and basic ETL workflows that don't just solve today's problem, but scale with our growing analytics roadmap.
• Team Guidance: Provide mentorship and day-to-day guidance to junior analysts on the team, helping them refine their technical and problem-solving skills.

Skills Required

Technical Skills:

• Power BI: Expert-level proficiency, including advanced DAX, Power Query, and dashboard performance optimization.
• SQL: Advanced scripting capabilities, including complex joins, window functions, and query performance tuning.
• Data Warehousing: Hands-on experience extracting and working with data from cloud data warehouses (Amazon Redshift strongly preferred).
• ETL Fundamentals: Practical understanding of how data pipelines operate, including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Data Modeling: Intermediate understanding of database structures and designing data models for reporting.

Business & Soft Skills:

• Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to interact directly with business teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver actionable insights.
• Data Storytelling: Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into clear, easy-to-understand narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Systems Thinking: Ability to design reporting solutions that solve immediate business needs while scaling with long-term analytics goals.
• Analytical Problem Solving: A proactive mindset for taking vague business questions and structuring them into logical data frameworks.

Work Experience: 2-3 years of experience

Working days: Monday - Friday
