Role: Senior Associate-Communication & Language Trainer
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Linguistic Trainer with deep expertise in English Language Teaching, Phonetics, Applied Linguistics, and Communication Skills Development. The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management and administrative skills, along with the ability to design and deliver industry-specific communication courses tailored to learners' needs. The role requires proficiency in designing structured linguistic modules, managing training projects, and supporting learners with personalized interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Training and Facilitation
• Deliver high-quality training in spoken and written English, including phonetics, pronunciation, and communication strategies.
• Work closely with students to improve their English communication skills through engaging classes, tutorials, and personalized feedback.
• Conduct workshops, one-on-one sessions, and group training programs to enhance communication and life skills.
• Train learners in articulatory/acoustic phonetics, IPA features, and accent neutralization.
Course Design and Development
• Develop and curate industry-relevant communication and Language courses tailored to learners’ needs by integrating phonetics, phonology, syntax, and discourse-level training.
• Design innovative training materials, resources, and assessments to engage learners and track progress.
• Design Language and Communication diagnostics, conduct it and make reports on the results. Project Management
• Plan, coordinate, and execute communication and linguistic training programs end-to-end.
• Track program effectiveness through structured rubrics, learner performance data, and continuous improvement cycles.
Student Support and Reporting
• Provide individual guidance and support to students to help them overcome communication challenges.
• Maintain accurate training logs, progress reports, assessment data, and learner feedback records.
• Support learners in overcoming communication challenges through guided mentoring and confidence-building strategies.
• Prepare detailed progress reports on student performance and maintain training records for monitoring and evaluation purposes. Administrative Support
• Coordinate training schedules, classroom logistics, and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of course delivery and feedback mechanisms.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Collaborate with academic teams to identify skill gaps and customize training initiatives.
• Engage with industry experts to align course content with professional standards and trends.
Skills and Qualification
- Master’s degree in English or a related field.
- Excellent English communication skills with a strong hold on Linguistics.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience teaching English communication and conducting communication training. Proven expertise in designing and delivering courses focused on English communication and industry-specific communication skills.
- A professional certification in the field of English Language Training and Applied Linguistics (CELTA) would be an added advantage.
