Job Description

Job Title: Analyst - GCC Finance T&E

Location: Bangalore

Reporting to: Manager Value Creation - GCC

Job Purpose:

Ensure timely and accurate management, accounting, and reporting of the Travel & Expenses (T&E) process for the AB-InBev GCC India, including validation of expense claims, policy compliance, payment processing, reconciliations and month-end closures. Drive accuracy and integrity of T&E data within ERP and related systems through close coordination with GCC teams. Deliver operational performance in line with agreed SLAʼs & KPIʼs and ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and corporate travel policies.

Key Tasks:

  • Subject matter expert for the Travel & Expenses end-to-end process
  • Oversight of employee expense claim processing, validations, and policy compliance
  • Administration and maintenance of T&E system - MXP
  • Ensure timely posting of T&E journals, clearings, and reconciliations
  • Managing corporate credit card program including issuance, usage monitoring, and settlements
  • Monitoring unsubmitted, unapproved, and overdue expense reports
  • Monthly T&E reporting, variance analysis, and preparation of T&E dashboards
  • Ensuring adherence to global travel policies and recommending improvements
  • Addressing audit requests, MICS compliance, and supporting regulatory requirements
  • Providing operational support and training to employees and approvers on T&E processes
  • Driving process standardization and automation opportunities

Main characteristics:

  • Act as a go-to expert for T&E policy, systems, and control-related activities
  • Deliver continuous value through standardization, simplification, and process automation
  • Adapt quickly to evolving business needs and system enhancements
  • Balance daily operational accuracy with proactive improvement initiatives
  • Ensure robust controls for T&E accounting, reconciliation, and expense governance
  • Drive employee compliance and awareness of travel and expense policies

Education & Experience

  • Education: University degree in M.Com MBA in Finance or related areas.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-4 years Finance, Accounting, or Travel & Expense operations
  • Experience in working with SAP/ERP
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Experience in working with MXP and Anaplan Tool is a plus.
  • Experience in working in a process-oriented organization is a plus.
  • Experience in coordinating people is a plus
  • Ability to analyze complex accounting data.
