Job Description

OneSource Administration & Support

• Administer, configure, and maintain Thomson Reuters OneSource applications (e.g., Indirect Tax, Income Tax, Transfer Pricing, Tax Provision, Reporting).
• Manage user access, roles, security, and environment setup across DEV/TEST/PROD.
• Monitor system performance, batch jobs, and data integrity; proactively resolve issues.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for OneSource incidents, defects, and enhancement requests.
  
  

Configuration & Enhancements

• Configure tax rules, rates, jurisdictions, calculations, workflows, and reports based on business and regulatory requirements.
• Support new country/state tax setups, legislative changes, and periodic tax updates.
• Partner with Tax teams to implement changes related to new business models, acquisitions, or regulatory requirements.
  
  

Integrations & Data Management

• Support integrations between OneSource and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, SAP) and other upstream/downstream applications.
• Validate inbound and outbound data feeds; ensure data accuracy and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with IT and vendors during integration changes, upgrades, or migrations.
  
  

Testing & Release Management

• Lead and support system testing for patches, upgrades, tax updates, and enhancements.
• Coordinate UAT with Tax and Finance stakeholders.
• Prepare deployment plans and support production releases.
  
  

Governance, Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain system documentation, configuration guides, SOPs, and support playbooks.
• Ensure SOX controls, audit requirements, and compliance standards are met.
• Support internal and external audits by providing system evidence and explanations.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Thomson Reuters OneSource.
• Strong understanding of indirect tax and/or corporate tax processes.
• Experience integrating OneSource with enterprise ERP systems (Oracle EBS/Fusion, SAP).
• Solid understanding of tax data flows, calculations, and reporting.
• Experience supporting production systems in a global enterprise environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OneSource upgrades, cloud transitions, or ERP migrations.
• Knowledge of SOX controls and audit processes.
• Experience working with global tax teams across multiple geographies.
• Prior consulting or managed services experience with OneSource.
• Exposure to automation, reporting tools, or data analytics is a plus.
