Senior Accounts Manager

Role Summary

The Senior Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial controls. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience with Tally ERP/ Tally Prime.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and maintenance of financial records in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances, ensuring timely filing of returns.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow statements, and financial reports.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and working capital to ensure healthy cash flow.
• Review vendor and customer reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare financial reports and provide insights to support management decision-making.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, HR, and Operations teams on finance related matters.
• Lead and mentor the accounts team while driving process improvements and internal controls.
• Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in commerce (B Com), Finance, or Accounting.
• MBA (Finance) preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
