Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Vadodara for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure conformance with accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing budgets, handling audits, overseeing tax compliance, and providing financial advice. A focus on accurate documentation, timely reporting, and strategic financial planning will be key in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
> Manage day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
> Handling Receivables billing system with clients and maintain relations with them
> Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax filings and ensure timely statutory compliance
> Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning
Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits
> Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
> Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
> Reconcile payout data with banking/NBFC partners and ensure accurate billing
> Identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
> Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Strong competency in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Financial Statement Analysis
  • Proficiency in Tax Compliance, Audits, and Regulatory Requirements
  • Advanced skills in Accounting Software, Spreadsheets, and Financial Tools
  • Excellent Analytical and Attention-to-Detail skills for maintaining accurate financial records
  • Effective Communication and Problem-Solving skills to provide financial recommendations
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles
