Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Shift in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist shoppers and staff with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to guests and store associates by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, and/or property damage, and notify site leadership and/or local responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrances, receiving areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter theft, loitering, and/or prohibited activity.
• Monitor access points and observe camera and/or alarm activity as assigned, checking doors, gates, and delivery areas for irregular conditions and reporting concerns per post orders.
• Document observations, incidents, and customer interactions in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant information during shift briefings and handoffs.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
