Science Content Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Science Subject Expert to develop engaging, age-appropriate, and curriculum-aligned science content for Grades 1 to 7. The role involves creating and reviewing textbook content, activities, and learning resources that simplify scientific concepts and enhance conceptual understanding for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop science content for Grades 1–7 including lessons, explanations, exercises, and activities
• Ensure content accuracy, age appropriateness, and alignment with curriculum guidelines
• Create engaging examples, experiments, and real-life applications to support learning
• Review and edit existing content for clarity, pedagogy, and conceptual correctness
• Collaborate with design and production teams for book development
• Support assessment creation such as worksheets, quizzes, and practice questions
• Maintain consistency in tone, terminology, and learning objectives across grades

Requirements

• Strong academic background in Science (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Ed. preferred)
• Experience in school-level science content development (Grades 1–7)
• Excellent written English and concept simplification skills
• Understanding of pedagogy and child learning levels
• Ability to work from office in Mumbai for the contract duration

Preferred

• Prior experience in textbook or educational publishing
• Familiarity with Indian school curriculum (State/CBSE/ICSE)
• Experience working with illustrators or book design teams

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
