SAP Operator

The SAP Operator will be responsible for creating Purchase Requisitions (PRs) in SAP based on inputs provided by the Project Management Team (PMT). The role involves ensuring accuracy in material/service codes, cost centers, project codes, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates while adhering to company procurement policies and SAP workflows. The SAP Operator will coordinate with PMT for clarifications, maintain proper documentation and audit trails, and liaise with the procurement team for smooth conversion of PRs to Purchase Orders (POs). Additional responsibilities include generating PR status reports, resolving SAP-related issues in collaboration with IT support, and ensuring compliance with established processes. Candidates should possess a diploma or bachelor’s degree, preferably in commerce or engineering, with 1–3 years of experience in SAP MM module or procurement operations. Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under deadlines are essential for success in this role.
