Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute end-to-end implementations, rollouts, and support projects in SAP FICO and SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from finance and accounting stakeholders across global business units.
- Configure and support SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Taxation.
- Configure and support SAP CO modules including Cost Center Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profit Center Accounting, and Material Ledger.
- Drive integration activities between SAP FICO and MM, SD, and PP modules to support Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Production Planning processes.
- Implement and support Indian GST, taxation, withholding tax, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Participate in SAP S/4HANA migration, rollout, and optimization initiatives including business process harmonization.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities for global entities, including European countries such as Italy, France, and Germany.
- Design and maintain validations, substitutions, Report Painter reports, ABAP Queries, and LSMW-based data migration solutions.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP development teams for custom developments, enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.
- Work on interfaces, IDOCs, user exits, enhancements, and integration touchpoints with third-party systems.
- Support product costing, credit management, and asset accounting processes with strong configuration and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Conduct system testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
- Provide production support, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations in a global support environment.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer workshops for key users and end users while promoting SAP best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with onsite/offshore teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare project documentation including configuration documents, process flows, test scripts, training materials, and support manuals.
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks while working independently with minimal supervision.
- Support audit, compliance, and governance requirements related to finance and controlling processes.
- Participate in business discussions, solution design reviews, and stakeholder presentations with strong communication and presentation skills.
Qualification & Skills :
- 8 - 12 years of Experience in SAP FICO , atleast 2-3 End to End Implementation and couple of rollout project Experience in SAP FICO
- 2-3 years of domain experience in accounting & One End to End Implementation/rollout project Experience in S4 HANA.
- Should have strong hands-on Experience in Indian GST & taxation Process
- Should have strong hands-on experience in FI – General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Asset Accounting, In CO – Cost center Accounting, Cost element accounting, Internal order Budgeting, Product costing, Profit center accounting, Integration – FICO with MM, SD and PP modules.
