Role Description The Sample Quality Control role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tiruppur. The role focuses on inspecting garment samples at each stage of production to ensure they meet internal standards and buyer specifications. Daily responsibilities include reviewing measurement specs, workmanship, fabric quality, trims, and prints/embroidery, identifying defects, and coordinating corrective actions with sampling, production, and merchandising teams. The Sample Quality Controller will prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and support pre-production meetings to prevent quality issues in bulk orders. The role also involves supporting compliance with relevant certifications and participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance for garment sampling and production.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Management and Quality Auditing to maintain consistent standards and documentation.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to ensure compliant, safe, and efficient processes.
• Experience in apparel manufacturing, preferably in knitwear and woven garments, is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret tech packs, measurement charts, and buyer quality requirements.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with international compliance standards and licensed merchandise requirements is an advantage.
