The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and results-driven sales professionals at various levels—Sales Officer, Senior Sales Officer, Relationship Officer, and Senior Sales Manager—to join our team in Karur, Theni, and Dindigul. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sale of assets and liability products through field sales activities, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the branch's growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new customers for asset products (e.g., loans, mortgages) and liability products (e.g., savings accounts, fixed deposits) through field visits and direct client interactions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customer segments and tailor sales pitches accordingly.
- Collaborate with branch teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service delivery.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports to the reporting manager.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, competitor offerings, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Must-Have Requirements
- 1 to 5 years of experience in field sales within the BFSI sector, specifically handling assets and liability products.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned location (Karur, Theni, or Dindigul).
- Education: Undergraduate or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Nice-to-Have / Preferred
- Experience working with banks, NBFCs, or insurance companies.
- Local language proficiency (Tamil) is a plus.
- Existing customer network in the respective city.
