The Role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Officer to join our field sales team in Tamil Nadu. You will be responsible for driving sales of banking and financial products, building strong customer relationships, and achieving targets in your assigned territory. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the BFSI industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field sales activities to acquire new customers and promote banking products (loans, deposits, insurance, etc.).
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets through effective prospecting and client engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high retention and referrals.
• Analyze customer financial needs and recommend suitable products.
• Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and track performance metrics.
• Collaborate with branch teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.

Must-Have Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical and financial management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel within the assigned city.
• Undergraduate degree (any discipline) is required.

Nice-to-Have / Preferred

• Experience with CRM software or sales tools.
• Knowledge of local language (Tamil) is a plus.
• Existing network of contacts in the BFSI sector.
