Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sales Manager – Rental Sales to drive business growth across the Odisha region. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, expanding market presence, and managing rental sales for industrial equipment. This role requires extensive field travel and strong industry connections.
- Develop and execute rental sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across Odisha.
- Explore and penetrate various industrial markets including construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, and logistics sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base in the region.
- Manage end-to-end rental sales cycle from lead generation to closure and collections.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular client visits and site inspections to understand requirements and offer suitable solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, service, and logistics) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management review.
- 4 – 8 years of experience in rental sales.
- Strong exposure to industries such as construction equipment, industrial equipment, power tools, gensets, or material handling equipment.
- Good knowledge of AWP (Aerial Work Platforms) and MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms) is mandatory.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and business expansion.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Odisha.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business / Marketing or related field.
- Experience in handling regional sales independently will be an added advantage.
