About HUMMA

HUMMA Farm Fresh Dairy is a fast-growing dairy startup based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. We manufacture and distribute fresh dairy products — milk, curd, paneer, buttermilk, lassi and ghee. We are building a high-performance sales team to establish HUMMA as the leading dairy brand across Odisha.


About the Role

This is the most critical hire at HUMMA right now. Sales is our lifeline and this role owns it completely. You will build our distributor and sub-distributor network from the ground up, drive retail expansion across Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri, and lead the sales team to consistent target achievement. This is not a role for someone who needs hand-holding. We need a street-smart, driven, accountable sales leader who has done this before in FMCG and can do it again — faster and better.


Key Responsibilities

  • Appoint and onboard distributors across target districts in Odisha
  • Build and manage sub-distributor network across urban territories
  • Drive retail expansion — increase active retail points month on month
  • Set and monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales targets for the team
  • Track target vs achievement for every sales representative daily
  • Manage and mentor the field sales team
  • Distributor relationship management — billing, settlement and performance review
  • Monitor market coverage, product availability and competitor activity
  • Plan and execute local sales and marketing activities
  • Daily sales reporting to management


Who We Are Looking For

  • Graduate or postgraduate in any stream
  • Minimum 3 years of FMCG sales experience — dairy, beverages or food preferred
  • Proven track record of building distributor and retail networks
  • Strong understanding of primary and secondary sales in FMCG
  • Experience managing a field sales team
  • Hungry, self-driven and accountable — startup mindset mandatory
  • Age 30 and above preferred — we need maturity, stability and ownership
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bhubaneswar
