Job Description
Objective:
To achieve sales targets and expand the company’s market share in the assigned geographical area by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, leading the sales team, and cultivating strong customer and dealer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:-
Sales Strategy and Target Achievement
* Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan and sales strategy for the area to meet and exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify gaps and new opportunities.
* Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue streams accurately.
* Manage the dealer and distributor network, including appointment, management, and market share development.
Business Development and Customer Relations
* Identify and secure new business opportunities and ongoing contractual relationships with key accounts, including corporate clients, builders, and government bodies.
* Maintain and develop strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients and channel partners.
* Present detailed product information, technical specifications, and company capabilities (e.g., fire detection, fire fighting systems) to clients.
* Handle customer inquiries, resolve service challenges, and ensure high customer satisfaction (adhering to the company's "Customer First" philosophy).
Team Leadership and Management
* Lead, motivate, and mentor the area sales team (Area Sales Representatives or Territory Sales Executives) to ensure they meet their assigned targets.
* Provide continuous training and coaching to the sales team on product knowledge, selling techniques, and industry regulations/codes.
* Monitor the performance of team members, conduct sales meetings, and provide direction for improvement.
* Assist in the hiring and onboarding of new sales personnel.
Reporting and Compliance
* Prepare and present regular, detailed area sales reports, market feedback, and performance analysis to senior management.
* Utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (e.g., HubSpot, Onstro) to track sales activities, manage customer accounts, and generate reports.
* Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, quality standards (like ISO and BIS), and relevant fire safety regulations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Experience and Education
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years of progressive experience in sales, with a significant portion in a leadership role like Area Sales Manager or Sales Manager.
* Experience in the Fire Safety, Fire Fighting, ELV (Extra Low Voltage), or related safety equipment industry is highly preferred.
* Technical knowledge of fire protection systems, including fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, and fire suppression equipment, is a strong advantage.

* Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills for market analysis and strategic planning.
* Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills (both verbal and written) to interact effectively with clients and senior management.
* Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned geographical area.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
