Backend Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong technical fundamentals who can work across multiple projects in a staff augmentation model. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, quick to ramp up on new projects, and comfortable working in client-facing environments.

Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in backend development

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Collaborate closely with frontend, QA, DevOps, and cloud teams
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Quickly adapt to client-specific technology stacks and business requirements

Required Skills

• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages: Java / Node.js / Python / Golang
• Experience in building RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Familiarity with Git and standard version control workflows

Good to Have

• Basic exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
• Understanding of Docker and containerization fundamentals
• Knowledge of microservices architecture

Education

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech / BE) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
